Background

Financial Insights™ was launched in 2003 as a business assessment, alignment and communication platform used to simplify how companies are evaluated and then properly positioned to investors in the capital markets. Specifically, the platform provides a systematic approach for establishing a clear line of sight from a company’s Vision, Strategy and Execution all the way through the end contribution to shareholder value.

The model was originally designed as an internal tool for DiBari Group to use as they help both its private and public company clients procure debt capital financing. Over the years, the focus of the Financial Insights program has been expanded to help sales teams more effectively engage the market in a unique and differentiated manner and to help management teams create alignment throughout their organization on key strategies & initiatives. Financial Insights’ natural extension into these areas stems from the central principals of the program including the Financial Impact Zones™ and Business Relevancy Mapping™ processes. What has proven out time and time again is that these principals are universal to every business regardless of size, industry or geographic location.

Program Evolution

DiBari Group leveraged its expertise in the capital markets to develop three core tenants for establishing and communicating both financial and business relevancy, whether the situation is customer-facing or internally focused:

  • Financial Impact Zones
  • Business Relevancy Mapping
  • The Conversation

The Financial Insights program is more than simply useful tools and efficient processes. The core of the Financial Insights education and communication program is helping employees enhance their mindset and approach to their business endeavors. Our goal is to help each employee Think, Speak and Act like business owners for their own company and their clients. Financial Insights leverages a visually based learning program to teach professionals how to:

  • Think Like an Owner - Using investor mentality and analysis techniques
  • Speak Like an Owner - Communicating with financial impact and relevancy
  • Act Like an Owner - Product mapping (sales application) and departmental & functional mapping (internal alignment) with business relevancy

Financial Insights provides education and skill-set development to help company employees identify, formulate and articulate how they directly connect to driving the financial results of their company.
